The Laboratory instrumentation can provide:
The Lab has a Perkin-Elmer Lambda 900 and a Perkin-Elmer Lambda 1050 double ray spectrophotometers with various accessories that allow to perform different kinds of measurements. Among these it is possible to obtain:
The measurements of diffuse reflectance or trasmittance can be realised with or without the regular component
The Lab is equipped with instrumentation for the measurement of color and color difference for sources and materials.
With the Minolta CM-2002 colorimeter is possible to perform tests on opaque materials. The Perkin-Elmer Lambda 900 spettrophotometer is employed for precise color determination both in transmission and in reflection. The Minolta CS-1000 spectroradiometer measures source color and color temperature.
The colorimetric data can be provided in one of the CIE reference systems (xyz, Lu'v', CIELAB, CIELUV).
The Lab is able to measure the radiation lobe of small sources (LED or optical fibers) or of the sources with dimensions up to about 30x30 cm with two differents measurement systems. The angular range is included between -85 and +85 deg along a direction and within -90 and +90 in the other direction.
The calibration procedure utilizes a certified luxmeter and a benchmark with 7,5 m of length. We are able to supply to the customer, in addition to the experimental data, the formula for adjusting the measurement made by their own instrument.
The Lab is also available to examine measurement configurations with layouts and non standard procedures, in order to individuate and propose specific solutions
